Where to finance

Might anyone know the best way to finance a riding mower. I'm disabled so I'm on a very strict budget. I can't afford more then $50 a month and have no down payment. I was saving $50 a month for alittle over a year and had $800, but on Dec. 24 I was robbed. The person was caught and awaiting trial, but the chances of me getting so much as a penny back from this crook is slim to none! Link to criminal...steer clear if you ever see him... https://webapps.moorecountync.gov/dcn/inmateDetails.aspx?id=10071
Anyway, town says I need to cut my lawn. I have about 3/4 of an acre...mostly flat. I'm having difficulty trying to find a place to get financing and also because I can only afford $50 a month. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend checking with a few local "lawn equipment dealers" versus the big box retailers like Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.). The product quality choices woll be better and financing through the dealer is always an option.

So I checked out a few dealers and monthly payments will exceed $100 a month. Thanks for the suggestion.

I hate to hear that with all of the 48 month 0% interest and similar "deals' going on that you couldn't find a dealer that could get you into a riding mower to match your budget. Did you try a Husqvarna dealer??? They have some fairly inexpensive lawn tractor models to choose from. Exactly what size rider are you looking for and how much area do you have to mow?

I did not find a Husqvarna dealer...will look again. I have about half an acre to cut...somewhat level, but no steep areas. Who is having the 48 months with 0 % interest?

Thanks for the help!!!

Sheffield Finance, a division of BB&T is one. But you have to submit an amount, and manufacturer, at the time of the request. If you go to each manufacturers site, they ususally have a finance tab on the home page. It lists who they'll support financing through, and terms. Usually length of contract and interest % is determined by the $ amount financed.
