I have an older Model #247288841 Craftsman tractor. (Parts list) While cutting my grass this spring fell out from under the mower. I found and ordered a new spring going by the size of the spring. The spring has since been upgraded and it's a fatter spring. My problem is I can't figure out where one end of it goes.The diagram shows one end but not the other.

Actually the diagram does shows it goes. Just got to know how to read it. The end labelled "C" goes to the screw stud on item 77 (idler arm bracket). This mark up should help focus your attention.
