I bought my Bad Boy from Eric at Sutton Tractor by the Turner Turnpike entrance area. Good folks over there..Just received a new set of rear tires with tractor tread from Stop and Go tires at Vandalia Ill. cant wait to get them installed for no more slipping on slopes..........

Just wondered. Steve at The Tractor Yard is a good one to deal with too. Never bought a mower from him, but bought a tractor from him and felt he treated me right.

Interested in buying a Bad Boy z turn mower. What I've read they get very good reviews and today I went and checked them out at a nearby dealer and they look to be very well built, heavy duty machines. I was looking at the ZT6000 priced at $4999.00 I told the salesman what would be my OTD price if I bought it right now and gave him cash money. He told me he could not come of the retail price any because the way the contract is setup between Badboy and it's dealers they are not aloud to give any type of discount and if any dealers did just to make a sale they could get in trouble with Badboy and might even pull there franchise. Well I walked and didn't buy it, was this just one sales persons BS not to come off the price any or could this really be Badboys policy to try to keep all there dealers on a even playing field. Has anyone else run in to this when they went to buy one?

Thanks dhall

I believe this to be true on the selling price. I bought mine and total with taxes was $5100.00. Soooo, how would you like to save about $900.00 and buy mine? I will tell you the reason for wanting to sell. You can't put a striper kit on the Z. You can't put the better hitch on the Z. It will only run about 7-8mph and I would like the swing out tanks that aren't offered on the Z. Now let me give you the selling points. If none of that matters to you or will never matter, than this is a great machine. It will mow as fast as it will run. I have a 60" deck and a 27hp Kohler Courage Pro. This mower is made heck for stout and is relatively easy to service. Since I've had it, I put the rubber mat on the floor plate, added headlights and an oil filter relocation kit to make my oil changes way easier. If I sell this unit, it will be to buy another Bad Boy. How is that for a sales pitch. When I priced these Zero turns, nothing else came close for as rugged as this thing was built. My mower is out of warranty but it has less than 100 hrs. on it and I have all the service information since it was new. It was broken in right and the fluids have been changed on it and I would service it again before I let it go. It also has two sets of blades. I really have not been serious about getting rid of it but at the time, I couldn't afford the higher priced mower. Keep the thread going none the less and maybe I can learn a few more things about the Bad Boy, good or bad.
