I have a Sears Varidrive GT 16 garden tractor I purchased new in about 1980 I think. Still have original owner manual and model is 917.257090. Engine is 16 HP Tecumseh model # 143680032 serial # 9052E.
I have other mowers so recently removed the mower deck from this one with intent on using it for a utility tractor. I ran wiring on it to run my pull behind spray rig and small utility trailer.
I would like to know when this tractor was actually built just for my records. I bought it at Sears in Ft. Worth TX, I think in about 1980. Any assistance will be appreciated.
