what causes the wheels to stick when backing the mower up? I cleaned and greased the gears but im wondering if this is a trans problem?

How much slack do you have in the self propelled adjuster, if it's to tight it will lock the wheels up backing up.

Try to get some penetrating oil between the axle and the wheel.

I found my belt slowly spins the trans pulley keeping the rear wheels locked even when my handle is fully released. im using a 33inch belt which is what it calls for. do I need a lawn boy brand belt?
