Wheel height adjustment

The setting keeps changing while I mow my lawn, causing the mower to drop all the way to lowest height setting and cut divots into my lawn. I am using a Black and Decker CM1836 cordless mower.

You have really not given enough info to know what the problem is but I will take a shot at it. It looks to be one of two things. Either the slots that your adjuster goes into are bad or the adjuster is bad. You can change the rear axle to fix the adjuster but if the slots it goes into are bad then you can not fix it.
Rear axle part number is 90575322SV and it is around $25.00
