Old Lawn Boy What Year And What Engine

Hey guys sorry to sound so stupid but i just got this old Lawn Boy and the model number is 7271AE serial number is B259C0201 I have to admit i know nothing about these mowers its electric start only no pull back up witch i thought was odd but ok any help would be great i will put up some pics of it soon thanks

i just want to know the year of it and what engine is on it like what horse power

According to partstree.com that model was made only in 1984. I don't know about the horsepower but it is a two-cycle, F-series engine.

It's probably 3.5-4.5 HP. I usually don't worry about that. The F engines are great, and will cut pretty much whatever you throw at them.

thanks for all the help but i have to say so far i hate this mower it runs and starts great everything works and i have all the attachments for it but i just don't like it at all I'm going to be looking for a buyer real fast

you should come buy it i think alot of it is its not self propelled but theres just something i don't like i cant put my finger on it
