So about a month ago I started helping my cousin mow yards. He has a small lawn care and landscaping business he's been maintaining about 7 years. The primary mowers I've used are a Toro SP 3 speed and a snapper SP 6 speed. The Toro is the easist to use and handle however the snapper is faster. The snapper is also much louder and has way more vibration. I'm a looking to purchase my own SP mower to use but would like some opinions. I'll be using the mower mainly for residential lawns 1/4 acre to 3/4 acre. I live in D/FW metroplex that's in Texas lol. There are some yards that are not flat. I've looked at lot's of threads and read alot of information. I've looked at used and new mowers but would like a brand new one between $300-$400. What does the CC number represent? I would like something reliable, dependable, starts relatively easily and isn't too hard on the body? I've looked at Toro SP personal pace and Troy Bilt as there is a dealer within 5 miles of where I live. Gimme the Juice!

No Troy bilt . Go with a Honda . Or I must say the new Snapper sp105 would be a nice one . It has electric start and 4 speed transmission

Personally I would go with the Toro 20381 over the Toro 20382. We sell 15 of the 381 for every 1 of the 382. Landscapers in our area won't touch the 382. Please don't down grade to the Toro steel deck models, you will not be happy with them cutting commercially.
