An anyone give me any information on this mower. I've never owned a Lawnboy, so I need to know what to look for before I make an offer on it.

Not sure of exact model number, but it's a late 70s early 80's commercial mower, and I would definitely latch onto it if I were you!

I agree... that's a nice mower even if it needs some work. As an extra bonus, the Canadian versions are a little different from the US ones. :cool:
 
Check out the Lawn Boy repair manual - hundreds upon thousands of models are listed....in detail - S/N and some features.

I checked to Models on Youtube. I found the self propelled version of this same mower. It was a model 8403 from 1984. Check out the youtube video below.

This might seem to be silly --- but have you also checked the deck on your lawnmower for the model number ?
 
This is a Four square, not the same in the video, the one in the video on youtube link is a later model, whereas this is an older verison
 
I Dont Know What Model It Is But I Know Lawn Boy I Love The Old Style Mowers Cause They Dont Have The Safety Features On The Handle Bars ANd No One Makes Them No One Has Them I Will Give You As Much Money As You Want FOr It You Can Email Me At [email protected]
 
As seen in the last post...you should buy it. Any two cycle commercial Lawnboy you can find is in high demand.
