I’m rebuilding a 31000 series vertical shaft generator power plant. I received two motors, both in pieces. I have the manual. I did not have the benefit of tearing down either motors, I received two baskets of parts. One of them did have a blown motor but the other one was in pristine condition. I am moving over all the exterior parts to the new block and I noticed that I had two pieces identical left over. I’ve been a mechanic for 40 years and I never ever like finding extra parts. So if someone could even tell me what this is called it would be a great help.
