Can anyone tell me what the maximum cranking amp for a Cub Cadet LTX 1045 is. I was sold a 360 CCA 12v battery. The old one was only CCA 195, 12v Battery. On install (and yes I got the terminals correct) the engine started pouring out smoke. Immediate shutdown and ask the experts. Help please. I don't know if I posted this right hope so.
That battery should work fine in your unit. We install 375 CCA batteries in all our units. You are going to have to look for a short, where the smoke was coming from.

Thank you for the advise. Hard being a dumb old lady. I will check for a short, as the smoke is white. There is also a strong smell of gas when opening the cover. I do appreciate your help,
