There's the primary filter going to the carburetors on my Raptor SD 54 with the Kawasaki engine connected to a 4-way T fitting. At the bottom there is a fuel filter with no hose connected, and when I was filling it up earlier I noticed fuel dripping from it. I couldn't find a hose that it goes to. It's just hanging there off of the plastic 4 way fitting with a short length of hose connected to it, and one end open. I never paid any attention to it before. Anyone know what it's used for?
Read page 4-4 of your operators manual.
Also read page 4-3 of your operators manual, more than likely, you overfilled the fuel tank.

That is for filtering the vented air to your fuel tank. Too full, it will puke thru that filter.

That makes sense. I did fill it up to the top of the filler neck. I actually capped it off with a carburetor vacuum port plug to be on the safe side while I did some mowing this evening.
