What is a good electric trimmer for a woman to use? I am not wild about the vibration, but need something lightweight and easy to start. My yard is small, so this is why I am leaning towards electric.

I would suggest getting a GreenWorks.

I just got a 120V A/C 10A GreenWorks 21142 PowerHead Trimmer which is okay. It's powerful, but I wish it had a variable speed and the fit and finish could be a bit nicer, but It's a good, useful tool. I'm in the market for a CORDLESS electric version that accepts (gas) attachments, like this 10A 21142 does. GreenWorks offers both a 4Ah 40V brushless DigiPro G-Max, as well as an 80V version that includes a 2Ah pack - also brushless DigiPro G-Maxxed. They both only use .080" line though, so I'm not sure how much more powerful the 80V vesion is.

Does anyone else offer CORDLESS attachment capable powerhead unit type trimmer stuff? RYOBI offers one, but it's also 40V and the videos make it seem very weaksauce, as it's not brushless, so the battery runtimes shouldn't be as good as the brushless GreenWorks stuff. GreenWorks supposedly is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for Lowes's Kobalt Cordless Lawn-Stuff. I just don't like blue colored lawn tools, so forget Koblats.

WORX? What are they all about? Craftsmans have any offerings worth a look-see? Probably not. I'm already invested in EGO, but they won't offer an attachment capable unit, so I cann't do any BLADED EDGING with the EGO power+, which puts me in a bad spot, needing to invest in an entire additional battery platform, creating more confusion, drama, clutter, chargers, and nonsense in my lawn-life.

RYOBI's weaksauce stuff (non-brushless = shorter runtimes, in the least) is on sale for $179 for one battery, stick edger attachment, and string-trimmer attachment, plus the power head, and charger. That's not so bad, but does it have the guts to run a bladed edger in the dirt? I bet the battery packs don't last long, as they don't even list the amp-hours for them.
