What grass bag do I need and where can I find it?

I have a lawnboy supreme 8157 and want to get a bag for it. It has the assembly already on it so all I need is the bag (I think). Is there a bag holder? Or something that houses the bag? Or do I just buy a bag and connect it to the square door?

Any help is much appreciated?

As you did not supply the serial number you will have to do you own searching. That model was built for three or four years and has different style baggers, depending on the year. Go to Jacks Small Engine .com with your numbers and you should be able to find what you are looking for.

I could not find a serial number. I believe it has worn off. I looked up where else it could be located on the mower but I came up empty.

Nevermind I found it.

Serial F203B0554

It has the chute but nothing else. Jacks doesn't carry the part I need. Says discontinued. 683796 is the part I believe

Everywhere I've looked the part is discontinued, which I figured anyways. I'm wondering what I could use as a replacement. I was going to just buy a bag and tie it off if I don't find anything.

My grass can handle having the dead grass put back on top of it.

I think you part number is 683799 and is still available but at a big price of over $100. I would check everyone of your local repair shops (especially Toro and LawnBoy) as many keep these items from junked out units if they are in good shape.

I found this bag on eBay and it did not work. My lawn mower has the bagger built in I believe with a trap door on the back where it should connect to the bagger. The Door is a square and the bag is a huge rectangle. I assume either this is the wrong bag or I am missing a part inbetween. If it was the wrong part, there went 50 bucks :frown:

You need both parts #18 and #19 in picture for it to work.

So what is half the opening to the bag open to the outside? Even if I buy that wire piece, it will still only connect half of the bag opening to the mower.

This is what I bought.

So this has a picture of the back and the parts. I believe #15 is the rubber piece that rubs on the ground. Ill have to order that frame piece and go from there. Even if I can't find the frame piece, I can make something that will work. I just don't understand how the wide open bagger connects to the mower itself.

So I found this picture on this forum and this is my mower. I have that exact bag I just ordered. There is a white plastic looking piece between the bag and the mower so this assembly is what I need!

Lawn Boy 611500 is the part I believe I need and I think that bag I originally ordered is the wrong one.

I have looked all over and can not even find that piece on a diagram.

The white plastic piece is part of the bag, discontinued and not available. There is a 90 degree plastic elbow/chute that they did make for that mower, not sure if that's still available either though.
