Have replaced air filter, diaphragm on carb, spark plug. I have a spark, its yellow but its there. What else can I check to get this mower running? Its a Briggs and Stratton engine.

Adjust valves, post tractor model number, serial number, as well as all numbers from engine.

Hey Mark,

It is a Bolens/MTD push mower. Model #11A-074E065 183617

Briggs and Stratton engine, 500 series,
Model # 10T502 type 0457 B1
Code 07091454

I have also run a compression check on the cylinder, it has 80 PSI.

Do I need to check the points on ignition on the fly wheel? The spark plug has clear liquid on it, which I believe is the fresh gas, but as of right now I am at a loss what else to check on this engine.

Thanks for your time

Engine cold, adjust valves most important, watch video by clicking on my first post. Intake valve .005-.007 and exhaust valve .007-.009 per manual.

"do I need to check the points" are there points on this model..? not in the manual that I have..! can't see it being valves if you have 80psi, if you have wet plug I would replace the coil.....and yes I know you have yellow spark....
