I've just acquired a T1200 ride on from my place of work, needs a little work but nothing major. My query is all the ones I've seen on youtube etc have the blade controls on the floor, mine are under seat on the right hand side. Is mine really old 1200 version or a newer version?

Does your tractor look like this one? Looks like those tractors used Briggs and Stratton engines. If your’s has one, supply us with the model, type and code numbers and we may be able to give you an approximate year the unit was built. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/4SEqs1RmUYF-westwood-t1200

Those are the units numbers, on the engine cover, (shroud) you should find the engine numbers.

Ah, its had a replacement B&S engine a few years ago, but, it was a B&S engine originally.
