Well META has given in to the right wingers and no longer fact check posts. So yet another source misinformation is coming online. The Devil and his demons is winning the fight against the truth.

What is the point of having things if they are not reliable getting the true facts? It looks we are going into the age of false information and that we are to guess at what is the true information.

Maybe injecting bleach or eating some red cap mushrooms will cure the bird flu after all. We done have the first US bird flu case death already. But we are not worried about the CWD either. But of course we have that just wanting catch these diseases like those that injected the AIDS virus.

But of course if the CDC knew of how sick my flock was back last February they would have killed them all over a treatable infection. They were all sick when I got out of the horsepital but I treated them and have them back to normal with a couple weeks as I had three different groups getting sick a few days apart as it was contagious among them.

This after I had a case congested heart failure caused by the doctor refusing to listen to the patient. After I got them straighten out I was right back in the horsepital with food poisoning. Not my cooking but the supermarket's deli cooking. What worst was I had to tell the doctor what was wrong with me.

Because standing 6 feet away and wearing cheap masks worked so well during the pandemic. Apparently nobody fact checked Dr. Faucchi.

People can easily “fact check” by simply going to alternative websites and articles. I do it all the time. The mainstream media has been spewing lies and misinformation that is typically liberal for many years.

Discussing politics is like going down a rabbit hole. I continue to try to not spend too much time talking about it with customers because it is a huge time waster. Believe me I can talk.

First I avoid both politics and religion with the customers. It just causes bad blood.

They tried to explain that cheap masks simply didn't work but only a few would listen. I use a simple tried method of just simply avoiding humans which has work for me for years. High school taught me that method. This why I shop for things local on Sunday mornings when most are either still piled up in bed or in church.

Due the future admin coming planning on being a major pain in the rear I am planning on continuing cost only mode just to keep my business from paying any Federal income taxes. I done got this last year EOY report and I will be paying none this year due to the IRS refusing to correct my name on checks. After 4 yrs of trying they may have finally gotten things straighten out but that has cost them the 2024 tax year taxes. So it would had been around $2,000 but is now zero due me operating at cost. I know I have to pay the tariff taxes but I limit that as much as I can too.

Bottom line of the EOY report.

BTW I only have to report a profit once every five years so I got three more tax years before I have to make a profit and then it don't have to be a large amount.

And I am glad I am not of the draft age any more.

As previously stated, be your own fact checker. Be independent, be a critical thinker, be accountable, be a common sense person. Love all and trust few. This applies especially to the government.

In my area it is very conservative politically, so it is easy to talk about politics. Why, because the customer agrees with me most times. However, it accomplishes nothing and wastes time. I still gotta work on this and say “hey I need to get back to work, have a good day.”

I don't have any of those accounts either. Had a business facebook at one time and then Google decided my page was a grey account and locked me out and then deleted.

Oh I tried setting up a business page on Google and they insisted on a live video from my cell phone instead of a recorded video. One problem with that I don't have one. Now two years later they are harassing me by calling ad saying I not listed on Google. I wonder why. I did need the extra Drive space for data backup. Google harass me so much that I quit using their search engine.

And a customer did a review on Yelp and Yelp just wouldn't leave me alone. But at least they are using the same phone number that got blocked and the emails are just looped back to them 3x. The latest harassment was voice services which finally told them the business is closed and then they stupidly asked did I have any other business and I just hung up.

Both Google and Voice Services are spooking local state phone numbers but out my service territory so it is easy to ignore them.

Well I have a different opinion as I can't trust a convicted Felon. That like trusting your next door sex offender not to attack your daughter.

And trusting environmental lawyer with no medical experience to run our health care is really dumb.

But what happens I just staying under my rock. All the talk of Tariffs and attacking our closest neighbors has cause to consider just closing my business and let the crooks just screw the customers. I can't see where pissing our closest trading partners is going to be good.

Some my vendors are already pricing in the tariffs. An example is the Xtreme PTO X0391. Back July 24 it was listed at 224.86 now the new price file I just load has it at 296.14.The X0065 was 249.70 is now 329.26. And X0659 was 376.66 is now 502.22. So enjoy all the new price hikes.

The majority of the country has come to realize that liberals conducted a lawfare campaign against Trump and most charges have been dismissed. But, that doesn't matter now. I'd only point out that our economy has deteriorated significantly under Biden, inflation was over 9% and your costs have increased dramatically. Groceries, housing, and energy price increases have made people much poorer and Trump has a plan to reduce costs and restore prosperity for all. Give it a chance and do a fair examination of results. If Trump screws this up, I'll be the first to say I was wrong but the population prospered during his first term and his plans seem to indicate the second term will produce even better results.

Actually most my personal cost has gone down. The only housing cost is maintenance. Medical insurance has dropped to zero from $1200 per month. Even the property taxes dropped $302 this year. Many other the costs are down too. I even manage to reduce the business part purchase costs during the last four years and was passing that along to the customers but no more of that. It is just in the last month the retail prices are soaring via the price files my distributor sending me. For some time I will actually make more profit as the retail price of what I have in stock goes up. Matter of fact the inventory retail prices of what I have in stock has already climb a total of $15K in the last month. I just awaiting the tariffs to increase my overall profit on the in stock items even more.

Just two of the items I listed I will be making an extra $205.12

My housing cost is maintenance only as well but everything costs more. Caulking for windows up, paint up, garage door seal up and property taxes up 8%. Medical costs for me increased so I don't know how your's fell to zero unless you dropped coverage. Even medicare keeps going up. You're a rare and fortunate soul if you've seen price decreases across the board. Most have experienced a significant rise in costs. Please let us know how to accomplish that so we can all take advantage of your expertise in navigating the markets.

Actually I got a lot better insurance than I had now that I am with BCBS. Even a three supply of my Eliquis is $11.20; and the rest of the current meds are free.

It just like 365commerce.ms is forcing users to accept cookies that allow Microsoft to access your Wifi and Smart Phones. Well my sales rep has a little more work load now as he has to enter my orders instead of me doing it.

So you prefer a president that is on video multiple times sniffing little girls, and his own daughter has made it public that her own father was inappropriate with her or a president that is technically not a convicted felon until sentencing which has a very good chance of being overturned and dismissed.

Well you can believe what you want about DJT but I cite two very recent examples of him jumping the gun and posting before he had all the facts just to rally up his supporters.

The New Orleans attacker was an US citizen radicalized via Social Media not an illegal migrant. And the lack of water in LA was caused the lack of electricity caused by the electric company cutting it off. The water system becomes a gravity fed system without pumps. Now the electric company was trying to prevent fires from sparks by the electric arcing. So it is one of those Damn if you and Damn if you don't cases.

I have lived in CA and the Santa Anna winds are a major problem during this time of year. Plus with climate change which many can't see happening this year normal rainy season has been lacking. Then of course the homes and businesses are built with flammable materials they become a tinder box that cinders can easy ignite when driven by 50 mph winds.

The water problem that keeping hydrants from not having enough pressure is like the lawn mower that can't cut grass when it engine is not running.

Come people use your brains that was given to you or do you have brain rot.

The fact is that inflation is eating our lunch. If people actually believe that inflation was only 9% at the peak in recent years, I have to laugh, a lot. 9% is basically another sales tax. If prices of goods and services had gone up by 9% it is essentially a double sales tax. There is no way that people would be hurting and complaining this much if that were the case. The government is cooking the books on the numbers. 2/3 of average households cannot afford an additional $600 emergency that arises. There is a term for that, it is called being broke. People are genuinely struggling in this economy. It is good to be debt free, have retirement savings, and be a cash buyer and I am very grateful indeed.

Now as for inflation I have seen prices go thru roof on some things. Some of it just greed and some it is actually supply and demand issues. Take for an example back in the first decade of the 2000's 80/20 ground beef was being sold for as little as $0.80/lb, now you are lucky if you find it for $3.99/lb; most time it is above $5 around here.

And going meatless doesn't help either as those veggies are also out of sight when compared to the early 2000's.

But if what I am seeing in the latest price files I am loading here for parts is any sign of what is to come we are in for major financial pains. For example the 25% increase in those Xtreme PTO clutches I just loaded yesterday. Now that is inflation. So far I have seen in the line of price reductions. Basically once it is up it is like fuel prices they are very slow to drop.

And our Prime interest rate is low compare those countries where it is 45%.

And learning to stay within your means is the only way to sorta keep your head above the water line (ie drowning in debit line).

A defendant becomes "convicted" - felony or misdemeanor - the moment he/she is found guilty by jury OR enters a guilty plea, technically and in fact. The leniency shown Trump at his sentencing did not, and will never, change that. He is convicted of 34 felony counts, the verdict delivered by jury, and will carry that record the rest of his life. Your assessment of his legal status is incorrect, I . . .

In NY state you are not considered convicted until the judge imposes sentencing. So at the time I wrote the quoted post is was considered true. And there is a good chance it will still be overturned on appeal.

No. In EVERY state, when a finding of guilt by jury, by plea or by bench trial (judge only) is reached, the defendant is "convicted". The sentencing phase which follows is an entirely separate hearing, usually set for a future date so that a presentence report can be done by probation and given to the judge, defense counsel and the PA, and victim impact statements submitted to the court for consideration. Some victims choose to speak at sentencing. This procedure is uniform across the country. NY is no different. I have 31 years' experience as an Adult Probation Officer. Trust me!
Whether the conviction is overturned remains to be seen.

The links you cite have information which was correct - THEN! However, on 1/10/25 Trump was sentenced by Judge Merchan, having been denied the motion to dismiss the guilty verdict. Normally, criminal defendants do not have a legal right to appeal their verdicts until a final judgement is entered against them, but Merchan allowed it, citing the unprecedented nature of the case. In criminal law, a final judgement must include the defendant's sentence. Accordingly, Merchan moving forward with the sentencing was favorable to Trump because it would result in a final judgement against him - which made it possible for him to properly appeal his CONVICTION.
Other than winning at appeal, there is no mechanism, which can ever erase his 34-count felony conviction or free him from the limitations and restrictions attached to a convicted felon by the State of NY.

That was my point. The thread that I posted and you quoted was posted prior to the judge accepting the guilty verdict and pronounced sentence. So was correct at the time of posting, I am not saying it didn't change at a later date, But at the time I posted was correct.
