Hi all! I have a weedeater lawnmower, with a 4.5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine, that was left out in the heavy rains AZ got last week. I have replaced the gas tank, air filter, and spark plug. Cleaned everything out as well as I could, gave it a shot with the air compressor, put in new gas. It's getting a spark, but I can't get even a hint that it wants to turn over. I don't know what else to do with it. Is it dead?? TIA for any help

Always, always, always start with spraying carb cleaner into the carburetor throat. Spark will be your problem 5% of the time. So with that said if it runs and dies right away you need to rebuild the carb. If its a tank mounted carb those are easy to rebuild. You shouldn't need a kit. Just carb cleaner and compressed air is all you need. Hope this helps.
