I have a Ariens snowblower, about 3 years old. It has a LCT engine on it part no. PW6HK17750. My problem is very weak spark. I replaced the coil with 2 different new coils. Still the same weak spark. Things I have done is, unplugged the kill wire, check the flywheel key, made sure no rust on flywheel, new spark plug, gaped the coil, checked the coils with ohms meter. I have been working on small engines for over 20 years, cars for over 45 years. This thing is stumping me. Any one has any idea what I missing?

Will it start or are you obsessing over what looks like a weak yellow spark.
Let me rephrase the question then.. You either have spark or you don't. Color or amount of spark doesn't matter. Are the coils you replaced OEM or Chinesium knockoffs. Are the coils mounted the correct direction because flipping them upside down can effect timing and spark in some cases.
