Hello All.
I'm trying to fix the transaxle on my Cub Cadet LT1045 because the case housing seal on the bottom is bad and leaking. I was finally able to get it out of the tractor with the neutral/brake pedal rod and forward/reverse pedal rods still attached, which was a pain in the ass
Now i'm at the point where I need to drain the oil from the filler hole on it, clean the bottom of it with carb cleaner what i was thinking, and take the housing apart to clean the seams and reseal it.
I'm trying to figure out what the best way to hold the transaxle up would be in order to do all those things without having it sit on the ground, another surface, or just holding it up manually.
My thought was getting 4 more jack stands and putting them strategically in different places, but i have a feeling there may be easier or better ways than that.
Does anybody have any ideas on what to do to hold it up so it's preferably suspended and won't have to worry about it falling over?
