Had a froze water outlet pipe. Ordered a new one. Noticed when I was taking the old one out it wobbled and every half turn it would be hard to turn. The new one did the same going in. It being alumn. both the pipe and the pump it stripped. It had to be defected from the factory imho. My question is has anyone else had this problem and is it possible to put a sleeve in the pump?
Actually it isn't a defect. The problem is water gets into the threads of the pipe, and corrodes the aluminum, and then they strip when you try to remove them.
