I am looking for a wiring diagram or just about any documentation for a Byers Gold 48" ZTM with an 18 hp Kohler engine. Seems to be in fairly good shape, but definitely has some kind of electrical problem, probably related to the switxh which activates the blade clutch. Already replaced the ignition switch with ambiguous results. Trouble shooting is very difficult with various safety interlocks, tight quarters and no schematic. I would like to buy any document that includes a wiring diagram.
I realize that Byers is an obscure machine, but I can hardly believe how thoroughly information on Byers products has disappeared from the marketplace. I've tried all the usual links to former stocking dealers I could find on the net, with no success. Anyone got such an old document hanging around your shop?
