See attached pic. This unit is on a B&S 17.5hp 31C707 engine. I've cleaned out the carb insides well enough, starts, but runs horribly with popping and very slow turning of engine, lots of exhaust coming out through the air intake. Some questions:
How do I adjust the two screws on the carb? These may have been tampered with by a previous owner.
Do I need to remove the black plastic supply tube that goes from the carb to the engine, is there anything there that needs to be checked? I can't quite figure out how to do this and would rather not if not necessary.
