Valves?

Briggs Intek had gas in oil. Replaced needle and seat. Cleaned carb. Drained oil and replaced. Adjusted valves. But now the engine revs every once in a while and bogs some. It also pops a little while running then will smooth out and run good for a few seconds then spits and sputters again. Seems possibly like valves but not sure.

You have an air leak some where or your fuel system is still funky. Use a gas **** off valve . Stops future repairs . Turn the valve off and let the carb run out of gas - put the machine away .

Brand new gas. I am going to tear carb Dow again to check.

Double check the main jet and nozzle.

If I could post a video I would show you how it was running. My description probably wasn't that good. Haha. But I am going to check that to make sure.
