valve setting

Can anyone tell me what to set my valves at on 11.5HP I/C. The number on it is 5BSXS 3442 VM and I can't find anything with this number. I tried putting a zero before the 5 to get the 6 digits that are usually used and still got nothing. THank you.gregjo1948

The number that you posted is the EPA emissions certification number. The model, type, code should be either stamped into the blower housing, on a tag riveted to the blower housing, or stamped into the valve cover of an overhead valve engine, When you find it is will actually say model, type, code.
