hey guys on the forum, just wanted to ask you all something. I recently contacted my local scrap yard wondering if we can buy mowers out of there. They said you can but costs $0.50 per lb. Just wondering if just selling mower parts on ebay would be worth it. What's the general weight of a push mower? Self propelled? and which engine parts are in high demand and which brands so i know when i go in there on Wednesday. Much help appreciated!

Thanks

Ben

Short answer to the ebay question is no... IMHO. By the time you pay all the fees and shipping your profit margin will be slim.
Kinda hard to give an average weight for a push mower and I'm guessing you mean a 21 or 22". Probably ~90lb.
Ebay buyers are usually looking for something very cheap or something hard to find. they usually want hard to find parts cheap too.
I parted out a Honda 214 on ebay a while back. I wouldn't do that again.
