New to forums, long time friend to snapper though.
Got this complete aluminum V211 for free from a buddy when he sold me a v125 Wisconsin robin snapper for 15 bucks he just threw in the v211. The robin will be saved for later it sat outside for a longgg time.
So first I cleaned this deck and used Plastidip black for the deck which came out very very nice , will post further pics upon finishing pieces, handle and brackets will be plastidip red; (am thinking about transplanting a monster robin on this baby  )

That looks new, do you have a picture of it before. I know nothing about Plastidip, can you tell me more? Is it spray-on or like the name implies a dip? I have used some stuff that you can dip your tool handles in and it drys with a rubbery coating. Is it anything like that? "But thats just me"

That looks like something 100 years old. Looks like a lot of work to get that stuff off. Is there a solvent to cut it, to help soften it? FlexiDip, thanks for the tip.

Ya this is aerosol can stuff, its actually easy to get off just peel it off. Plastidip is the best aerosol can coating tho

Ya don't buy flexidip its made by rust oleum and it is horrible, just cracks. Plastidip is my favorite especially gunmetal color.
I don't have a before pic of the one I'm doing now I do have another magnesium aluminum deck like it tho it had a crack on rub edge

All done for now, I'm not digging the red chute though. Those wheels are off a 2013 Walmart snapper (mtd) which I think they look beastly. I'll go through an L head now and slap her and mow!

Maybe the red will grow on you. You right about the wheels, looks tuff. I like the tread. Keep us posted.

I wouldn't have thought of those wheels but that looks good. Maybe black for the chute? Looking forward to seeing this complete.
