it was the orchard model and it was 6 volt it had a lot of the accessories like the plow and mower attachment and the plow blade and the rototiller that ran off the three-point hitch. i rewired it for 12v and my uncle "borrowed" it for his garden and decided to rebuild the engine and then kept it. if you popped the clutch to fast the front end jumped up. which is what his son did and broke the steering linkage. they welded it together but it looks ugly and the tractor hasn't been moved for a few years. i made some good money with that blade in the winter. ah family politics.

My Paran' / Godfather was the I-H parts manager in our local dealership and I used to get the I-H toy tractors all the time.....
I don't remember who gave me JD toy though ..... It said Santa on the card .... LOL......
