First off regardless of hours, how old a unit is it? I had the G1336 and it cost me $1999 new and the 48" was running $25 to $2700 new if it's a gear or belt drive unit. If it's a hydro there running in the neighborhood of about $4000 new if you can find one and there is the problem, if I'm not mistaken they, Cub Cadet doesn't make or sell those units anymore or at least they don't have them listed on there web sites.

Just sold a cub cadet rider. Worked on it more than mowed. I will never buy anything mtd makes again!
