Deck is stuck in the high transport mode. Cannot disengage. Foot pedal solidly locked, handle to disengage does not do anything, just flips uselessly. Thanks for any suggestions!

Mine did that recently. I sprayed some penetrating oil on the handle mechanism area, anything that looked like a pivot point. Then I put a floor jack under the deck and raised slightly and then whatever was binding released.
