Would this mower be too heavy? At 1700 pounds for the 61" vs around 1350 for the gas models that is a major difference. I would like to hear from people who own or have at least demoed this machine. How is the power? Is it worth the extra money and weight?
It would be a commercial rig for customers lawns etc not a personal mower
A few things to be mindfull with hydraulic drive machines.
If you are new to ZTR machines bear in mind that they slide sideways fairly easily as they have no front wheel steering control.
ZTRs can easily get stuck in soft and hilly ground.
ZTRs are not easily towed out of the nasty areas in which that get stuck.
If you trailer your machines, keep in mind the max capacity of your trailer.
I would love to have diesel powered machines but could never justify the added initial expense.
