The local SCAG dealer replaced the choke cable on my mower last year as an add-on to the a yearly maintenance. It has never worked right and constantly binds up. I don't know if it is an OEM cable and I was wondering if some of you could share your preferred supplier/manufacturer for choke/throttle cables?
May just need adjusting, just loosen screw a little for choke cable hold down tab bracket at carburetor so you can move cable housing, probably in a bind, try moving it forward or backward & tighten screw, work with this until choke lever operates properly, be patient & take your time.
