Tuffy Shift speed ground speed Question

Hello all I have a troy bilt Tuffy riding mower Model #13wv77kf066

My problem is the 7 speed shift. no mater what setting it stays the same speed. I have looked at the Diagrams on a few sites but none show any linkage for it. Is there a diagram or something i am missing. The shift lever moved a bracket mounted to the lower frame but i see nothing connected to it. Did I lose a part.

You didn’t lose anything. You have a variable speed unit which uses two belts and a stack style pulley with a moving center sheave. The sheave is stuck, not allowing speed changes.
