The suspension on the front is not working correctly. The right side stays up and will not go down on the front but when I jack it up and move the I beam it will go all the way up. I cannot figure out what is going on. Any suggestions? Thanks,

Make sure this is your model number. Safety First, scotch back wheels with brake on. Jack up front end, use jack stands if you have them, & inspect front end parts for excessive wear, drag link, ball joints, bushings, etc. using a pry bar, a helper would be beneficial. Do not put yourself in Danger under tractor. Pulling front wheels & using jack stands would be to your advantage. Let us know how it goes.
Try using a spray can each of penetrating & lubricating oil & let it soak a while after each use to loosen things up, this goes for all moving parts.
This was a hand me down but runs good after some work. There is some wear in the spindles and ball joints but not bad. Nothing like the mtd I have. If I can get the chassis to level out I believe it will be a good running mower. The pivot bar was froze when I first got it but it now will go up and down when I move it by hand. I can push it all the way up but when I let the jack down it will raise back up. Could the chassis be bent? I haven't seen any bends in it.
