Hello,Problem I can't change gears when the motor is running.The mower has the auto drive setup, It has a one speed trans it has rev/n/drive,it will not come out of gear with the engine running it just keeps pulling until i shut it down. I checked the drive belts upper and lower they are fine. Adjusted the idle arm for the auto drive. I dont understand why it wont shift. When the engine is running the shifter is stuck in gear and i cant move it. Thank you:confused

Are you engaging and holding the brake pedal first before you attempt to move the shift lever?
Yes
As mm said check the shifter mechanism assembly and also check the brake adjustment. Be best to have 2 folks; the one with mechanical skills need to be on the ground while the other manipulates the related controls.
