2003 model # 13WV77KF066
There is a spring on the left side deck and the forward part of the spring is broken. It is connected at the back but I cannot figure where the other end is to be connected. I hope someone can tell this girl where it connects and maybe post a pic. Thank youView attachment IMG_20250505_172614235.jpg

Need to confirm model number. What you posted is for a 2010 with a 38 inch deck.

As IL the model says has a 38" deck; unless, someone changed out the seat then all bets are off.

But see if you have this idler arm on the deck. If so the spring hooks where the arrow is pointing.

Hello hollydolly,

You will need to carefully remove the deck to access where this spring is supposed to go and connect a new one.

It attaches to the rear bracket as your picture shows but is installed length way back to front on the deck.

I suspect the spring will be the same, regardless of the difference of being a 38" or 42" cut. The part in the picture is the bare tensioner idler without any pulley or the pivot bolt hardware/

Was a simple connect, no need to disconnect the deck. Connected where Star Tech said.
