Troy Bilt Pony Mower stopped moving

My Troy Bilt Pony 42" suddenly stopped moving while mowing. It won't go forwards or backwards. The blades still will engage. Help appreciated.

check the drive belts.

I would also suspect that the drive belt for the tranny has broken or came off. It is tucked up inside the frame and you will have to get down and look up inside the frame rails to see it
