the small drive belt keeps jumping off. Any suggestions on cause. Ideler pully appears to keep tension properly.

Model number would help us to see what mower you have. I am assuming that you have the two drive belt system . If that rear belt it jumping off of the transmission drive pulley check the bolts in the tranny support bracket either on the front, or front corner of the transmission. If that comes loose it will allow the tranny to rock and throw the belt off. Also will crack the frame where the axles mount to the frame.
