I am trying to replace the two idler pullies on a Troy Bilt Bronco and am having an impossible time. It seems the nut to release the bolt is sandwiched between a top floor board and a lower metal plate. In other words for me to remove the pulley I need to drill a hole in the metal floor to get to the nut. Is there a better way that Inam not seeing. Thanks Jack

I have a Super Bronco and the two drive belt idler pullies have bad bearings and need to be replaced. My problem is there is no way to get access to the nut holding the second pulley in place. The designers have encapsulated the nut between the main floor and another piece of metal. The only way...
