I have a 42inch riding mower, I guess it's the 'Pony'? Last year I replaced the belt and brake pads with OEM parts, not sure if I put everything back correctly or not. But now I can start just fine, cut just fine, but brake won't engage. Like when riding I step on brake and it might slow down a little but won't stop. While riding I can't stop to put into reverse, but from a complete stop (after a start) I can put in reverse just fine, but then I'm stuck in revers and can't stop to go forward.
I've got it apart right now sharpening blades, hopefully something comes back to me and I can fix it? Any ideas? Thank you
