I recently replaced the deck belt and now it propels itself when I squeeze the operator presence handle. Never did that before and it makes it a real mother to control. I can stop it but as soon as I start forward again it starts propeling itself again. now when I mow I don't even have to use the self propel handle and it's not all that safe. Anyone have any ideas? I've scoured the internet for answers but found nothing.

belt is to tight is there a adjustment on the cable some of the have a a section in the cable that looks like turn buckle on them to loosen the cable so it wont pull on the arm to engage it ....my cub cadet has one
