How do I replace the ball bearings on the deck spindle. The Alumn. Housing has threads on one end that the bearing cannot pass through. I got one bearing (on the bottom closest to the blade). This end has a stop "lip" so I can't push it further up the housing to the top.:confused2:
The bearing and shaft come out the bottom of the spindle. May have to press the bearing off the shaft after it come out, or the shaft may come out and when have to drive the bottom bearing out. Just be careful and take your time, because it you rush it, the bearing may crack the housing when it comes out.
