Get done

I have a 50" ZRT Cub Cadet. I love it while it is cool but once it gets hot, I don't care for it. When the mower is used for about 1 hour, especially in hot weather is starts to sound like the drive system is decavitating and it is very difficult to keep it going straight. I have noticed that it normally starts when the mower is being used on a larger slope where I have to give it a little more forward stick on one side. Now here is the funny thing, when it happens I can get it to a water hose and spray water on the left wheel drive case and it is normally good to go for awhile longer. The belt is in good shape and the fluid is at level. I thought about changing the fluid but Cub doesn't think that is ever necessary. I just wonder if there is a vent or a valve that maybe partly clogged and not allowing it to vent???? Any ideas out there?????
