Does anyone know if a 2016 Elite ZT Hydro gear trans will interchange in to a 2014 MZ Magnum?
I have a bad left Hydro on my Magnum and have a Elite for Parts .
The Bad one is 050-4031-00 - EZT - Left - MZ Models ZC-DPBB-3DKC-1FPX
The Good One is 050-2081-00 - Obsolete - USE PART #050-2096-01
050-2081-00 - Obsolete - USE PART #050-2096-01
050-2096-01 - Left ZT Transaxle & 36" 2020-2021 Revolt
I know the Part #'s are different but looking to see if there interchangeable .

It would help to have the hydro model numbers from their serial tags.

The ZC-DPBB-3DKC-1FPX uses a 10cc motor whereas the 050-2081-00 or ZL-KCEE-3BKC-1PXX uses a 16cc motor and the 050-2096 or ZL-KCEF-SBKC-1PTX seems to reference to the same 16cc motor as the 050-2081-00 but all three the same 7 piston pump.

No it will be a fair amount slower due to the 60% larger volume of the motor. So won't track straight and won't be able to adjust to make it track straight.

I would get the Elite going instead of the Magnum if at all possible. The Elite is a larger mower, better frame, larger tires, deeper & better deck, larger serviceable wheel motors....all around better!

The following will give an idea of the specs including gear ratios.
