I have a craftsman zt7000 and I was purging the hydros because they hardly moved, had a slight jerk when bars are all the way foward or back. During the purge I heard a soft metal on metal tap and didn’t think anything of it and then found a metal key with a flange on the end. The hydros still don’t work great but they roll when the engage lever is active and don’t roll when it is not engaged, how it should be. The back wheels turn when it’s on a jack but not very fast. The hydro unit itself is sealed and is not supposed to have any fluid added. Any ideas what that key is?
