I have a Craftsman 917.273764 which is about a 2004 model LT2000. This unit has been out of service for a year or so because the transaxle seemed to be shot. A friend of mine was tinkering and thinks he may have actually fixed the transaxle, and now it's time to put the tractor back together and see if he was successful.
I removed the LH torque strap during the dismantle, and we cannot figure out how/where it goes back on. Very frustrating, and I feel so stupid.
The exploded parts list (part number is 178122) is not at all clear. Can anyone be of assistance, please? If I could only find a picture online...
