Bought a Toro Z Master Diesel Commercial with 3 cylinder Daihatsu engine. Man said he burnt up the starter trying to start it after running out of fuel. He didn't know much about it and after looking at it, we think he had the fuel tank selector on the empty tank and put fuel in the other tank. It needs some work but I only paid $250 for it. I will see tomorrow if I can get it started or not. I think I have another starter laying around.

Got the engine running today. The ignition switch was burnt up and fell all to pieces. Jumped some connections and she fired up. Nothing wrong with the starter itself.

Can't beat that for $250

Discovered what the seller didn't tell me. No drive on the left side. Just a grinding sound. Still, I think it's worth what I paid for it. Time to invest some more money I guess.
