I have a 60" Z Master with a 30hp motor.
I purchased a new set of gator g6 blades, which are 3" wide. However, when I go to change the blades, I see the spindles have a lip on the bottom that allows it to only fit 2.5" blades. This is the first time i've run across this. Picture below to show what the spindle lip looks like.
My question - Would it cause any issues if I grind/cut this lip off to fit the 3" blades? It seems many other mowers don't have this, and the blades mount to the spindle with no issue.
