I have retired my Toro for my own yard now. The seat switch is worn & I have now cut the wires ( 2 Yellow, 1 pink & 1 orange) & thrown the switch. How can I wire it without the switch for my own use.

It can be done, but due to liability reasons I can not advise you. There are reasons of safety that could get me in trouble.

I know it can be done, that's why I asked the question, liability will fall on the idiot (me) who wires it. Many years ago the toro dealer where I bought it wired it that way for me to use why they waited for another seat switch to be ordered. Maybe I should have permanently glued the switch down when they changed it. I have rewired it but I get nothing, possibly grounding, however I will persevere.
