Hi all,
I've got a Toro Sportlawn 18" mower (model 10018, ~1974)
I need to replace the V belt, and I'm wondering if there is any trick to getting it on?
As far as I can tell, the only way to do it is to remove the front and rear engine mounting bolts and tip the engine to free the clutch "slip ring" from the "shift fork" so that the belt can be slipped over the drive shaft. Am I missing something? Is there an easier way?
Also, I was wondering if anyone has experience back lapping this mower?
Thanks for your help
